the production seemed really strange. people announcing the players acting like they’re basically nobodies. definitely felt low budget. some fast picks some slow picks. i know expansion drafts rarely happen but they were prob just better off in a studio keeping it professional looking lol idk maybe i’m being a party pooper
i have a severely obese friend that just refuses to get healthy. finally found a gf. happy for him, but probably the worst thing that could’ve happened to him. he has zero motivation to get in any sort of shape now. we grabbed dinner last friday w one of our friends who said “damn dude have you lose weight?” he hasn’t lost any weight. just being polite. all that did was enable to think ok i’m looking the same i can keep eating. he’s the laziest guy ever. i’m the only one out of our group who will acknowledge how unhealthy he is. everyone else just brushes it off. we are in our 30s now. there is no reason to not be actively trying to lose weight. being fat is not healthy. period. he’s still the same bully he was in grade school. won’t change his attitude or habits. it’s seriously sad.

i like these tips for the most part. not number one tho. have to be able to use a driver. not every one will be right down the middle but you have to utilize it. for me it’s just playing smarter. stop trying to crush the ball when i have a hybrid or long iron out. keep my head down with the pitching and wedges. trust the weight and the loft of the clubs. stop swinging out of my shoes.

thank you. just needed some reinforcement. i was eating 1500 to lose the weight. it can be a struggle when you pretty much know what to do. but go back and forth on how many calories to eat. i am close to breaking through this skinny fat phase. i’m committed for the long haul i just need to be pointed in the right direction.
ok so 2000 cals sounds good? you are confident my tdee is around 2400? maybe run a day or two instead of walk? i need to get out on the weekends and hike or something. i kinda become dormant on the weekends after a long week unless it’s golf but that doesn’t really count

get some good quality pots and pans, a good chef knife and cutting board. start with learning basic knife skills. cutting an onion, peppers, mushrooms etc. start with chicken. cut that up into nice uniform pieces. cook it up in one of your nice pans. add the veggies, make some rice. pretty simple and healthy weekday dinner.
