I don’t know you dude. But I hope shit works out, no one deserves to be forced to work this way and expect to act their best.

I had a really “good” job myself until last week, I quit, it was part governmental, and with our government being stupid, people in offices were slowly being told to come back and work on a office desk again…

I always sat right next to my manager, and constantly had questioning about what I’m working on and how much time it’ll take so he could pile more on me, usually stressful and pitiful corporate nonsense to keep me unhinged about my workload.

My manager was very toxic, as I’m quite young also especially when I started, I was manipulated emotional very often, making me feel in the wrong or incorrect about anything I did, day. to. day.

It affected my mental health drastically, after a few drastic events at the start of the first lockdown due to the pandemic, being forced to make all my tasks operate from home with strict and short deadlines, I gave up and said enough is enough.

I held off as long as I could in hopes for the pandemic to clear and find a new job, although I have no job now, I’m extremely lucky enough to have saved some money aside to last at least a few months.

It’s a huge risk, but I wanted to kill myself every waking morning for a whole few years.

Although I recommend being safe and finding a job first before straight up handing a 2 week notice in and leaving, if a jobs pushing you each and everyday to hell, it’s what you personally deserve most.

Moneys always a problem I thought of first over myself, I didn’t want to risk my small flat and belongings or moving back in with family but at the end of the day, I lost my friends, I lost my mind and my patience with it all.

I hope whatever happens or whatever you decide to do, continue on through it and I wish things to get better for you my friend ✊🏻 it’s modern day slavery at its finest but we are all smart enough and strong enough to realise it.

I hope they all realise how much we appreciate the work they put in for us all to enjoy, nothing has matched it since for me.

I was watching the start like, hmm, I suppose he’s going to look over the edge to a open span of sea below him.

Poor me, if only I knew.

I need to cry now.

Can someone help a newcomer from the UK with which exchange is best for stock trading AMC/GME? I’m on an iPhone also, I would prefer something to trade and hold from my phone 🤔

What exchanges are best for someone in the UK on an iPhone?

In basic terms! MATIC’s one of the leading tokens right now used in conjunction with Ethereum in order to speed up and reduce fees on transactions, I’d recommend looking into the subreddit for details on collaborations etc. It’s really leading the way, high hopes for MATIC.

Using a different browser doesn’t matter, you’re still using the same network and operating system I presume.

That’s the same as going incognito and saying that your ISP won’t know what you searched, it doesn’t do anything.

I get the argument of ‘I have nothing to hide’ but what about the millions of other people who say the same?

My point isn’t anyone has something to hide and they should be conscious of this, it’s the fact that big corporate businesses are making billions from you, because people don’t take ownership and say no, it’s mine.

It’s not a matter of hiding anything, it’s simply saying stop taking my personal life for a profit, it’s unsafe and how about the reports on Facebook in the past?

It’s far past advertising and marketing, data can sway elections, cause misinformation to the easily influenced.

I’m not trying to be rude, but I’ve been a cyber security technician and I’m a lot more aware in how data affects people in more ways they even realise.

I bought a bunch of live plants recently, my cat was upset as I had to move them as she kept trying to eat them, so, I bought some fake flowers. Here she is looking very proud with her fake flowers.

I’ve been investing in crypto for the last year and only recently decided to research THETA, I’m looking hopefully store them in my wallet with the rest and hold for a much longer term (5 years at least).

I feel this fits my flow, I appreciate you expressing your views and offering assistance!

It’s hard for me to remember what was said, as I couldn’t remember exactly I thought it’s best not too say unless I was sure.

Thank you for your comment though, my mother said the exact same thing to me with all this, it very well would make sense as it was very recent his passing coincided with all the activity we experienced.

He very well could’ve been checking up on us both, it’s just a very frightening experience for us both,

I would add that I learnt my grandad was part of nuclear weapons testing, he was part of a small crew who watched the bombs being dropped in the ocean.

The sad reality of this was, obviously the shear amount of radiation wasn’t taken into account, my dad told me all of his friends/crew mates passed over the next 4-5 years from cancers.

My grandad was much the same but he did outlast everyone else, he lived most of his older life on a ventilator, until the radiation took its course and caused the cancer in his lungs.

This maybe far fetched but my grandad had trouble speaking due to this, I recall my dad saying it sounded like a muffled whisper, hard to make out exactly what was said, which makes sense considering his condition in later life.
