Who knew that actions had consequences? Isn't that what the GOP is all about, personal responsibility?

Another example of "Rules for thee, but not for me". How does the cognitive dissonance escape them? Are they really that dense or do they just not care?

Sunday seems to bring all the "interesting" commenters out of the woodwork. Please remember the person behind the keyboard, and note that all racist comments will lead to a ban. If you see something, report it.

Remember Bill and Ted's Law: Be excellent to each other, and party on, dudes!

My grandmother had the hardest time understanding the problem with "All lives matter" and why it wasn't acceptable to say that. By her logic, all lives DO matter, (which isn't necessarily wrong). We finally got through to her that it would be like saying "All grandchildren matter" while one of her grandchildren is laying up in hospital in the ICU. She got it then. Bless her soul, she was trying but just couldn't get it until we framed it for her differently.

"Asshole stopped paying X, forced him to work seven days a week, and subjected him to racial epithets and threats... Asshole assaulted X to get him to work faster and punish him for mistakes... Asshole beat X with a belt, punched him, hit him with pots and pans, and burned his neck with hot tongs."

Requesting ownership of r/MurderedByWords. Two of the top 5 mods haven't been active in the sub in years, a third has had their account suspended. Myself and one other mod do most of the modwork, but don't have access to everything

TIL of the "Immovable Ladder", sat on a wall of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre since at least 1728. It can't be permanently moved without six different Christian denominations agreeing, something which has never happened.
