It's the Guinsoo's change. I haven't run the numbers but I would guess it delays your evolutions too much, and the actual damage is lacking without the ramping AP, plus if you're not getting any crit from anywhere the rageblade passive isn't great.
God I miss AP Kai'Sa.
Cool, but then those things become more expensive and society has shown it values value for money over worker compensation.
The problem with conservatism is eventually you run out of state-owned assets to sell off.
The last year they reported (2019), they lost 5million pounds. In that same year, the CEO got a 44% pay rise, taking his pay up to £2.4m.
I'm no expert but I do see a big cost that they could cut.
If the demand they service still exists, a new company will rise to service that demand. That new company will hoover up the employees.
The economy isn't supply led.
Are British Gas in danger of going bust?
If they are, what other steps have they taken to avoid this before going 'eh fuck it let's fire and rehire'?
Society has decided that Uber drivers are something worth having. Native workers don't want to be Uber drivers. So either we accept that some migration will have to happen to provide Uber drivers or we go without Uber drivers.
Swap Uber drivers for any other job that's mostly filled by migrant workers. We can't keep kidding on like these people are coming here to create these jobs - society says 'here is a function that needs filling but we don't want to, someone else has to', then when someone else does, society gets very upset by this because that someone else is forren.
One of the shops I worked at when it opened insisted on having full names on name badges. I said it was a bad idea, they said "no it'll be fine". Then every single female team member got multiple random-ass Facebook friend requests and messages, some of them outright disgusting. They changed the name badges shortly after that.
Later on in my career when I ran a coffee shop, I never stopped being amazed at the amount of people who would outright hit on any vaguely attractive female barista. I used to interrupt it when I could, but I wasn't around all the time, and I swear to god it happened once an hour+.
Yes but who's the Popular People's Judean Front?
Normal games use the same matchmaking system as ranked, it's just hidden. Eventually your normal MMR will level out and you'll get more balanced games - your own skill level improving will help here.
They did that with the Nando's scale. Then they needed to distract from the Barnard Castle saga so they went "quick, everyone pile back into Primark" even though the scale showed we were worse off at the time than we were at the start of lockdown.
So the employer can call them tipped employees and pay them the tipped minimum which is what, $2.13?
No, that's not what I meant, perhaps I wasn't clear.
At one point during the pandemic, approximately half of our wards were being used exclusively for covid patients. That slowly scaled down to the point where six weeks or so ago we finally cleared out the last of the covid patients in a general ward - we kept an isolation ward in A&E for suspected cases, and an ICU ward, but the general wards all went back to their pre-pandemic usage.
Then last week I got asked to move all the non-covid patients back out of one of the wards as it's being re-converted back into a covid ward. So we're back to having an isolation ward in A&E, a covid ICU ward, and a covid general ward.
Disclaimer, I'm just a portering supervisor, people ask me to organise moves and I organise them. I have no access to any of the medical data they've used to make these decisions.
I can only speak anecdotally, but 6 weeks ago we got rid of the last non-ICU covid ward in our hospital.
Last week I cleared the ward of non-covid patients again.
Under the Tories net migration has increased year on year. They could've made non-EU migration impossible at any time. They didn't because they know the economy as it currently functions is dependent on migration.
I work in a hospital. It really doesn't take long before the nicest, sweetest old person you can ever meet is coming out with some profoundly racist shit.
Racist views are a lot more common than we think in this country, because people learnt the wrong lessons from all the work did in the 80s and 90s - they were supposed to learn it's not OK to BE racist, instead they learnt it's not OK to BE racist...until you think the person you're talking to is also racist.
It is the history of the Tottenham
You know Churchill's statue has been defaced again since then, right? Funnily enough I don't see the footballing world up in arms against checks notes Chelsea FC supporters for that blatant act of vandalism.
People just do not understand night workers.
I'm on a rolling schedule, 7/14 of my shifts are night shifts (12 hour shifts, 14 shifts worked every 28 days). People think I'm lazy because I have 4 days off between my nights and my days but it genuinely takes that long to switch your sleep pattern around, and if you try and do it any other way you're just a zombie for the next week.
Plus people try to schedule early afternoon things on your days off and you're like "i'll have had 4 hours sleep, no" and YOU'RE the asshole.
Then you lose the trades because you walked back into lane with +15 AD and your opposing laner walked back in with +30AD and +15% AS. The fact that you reduced their heal from 90 to 60 literally does not matter.
I unironically use the phrase "It's mine, I licked it!" in everyday conversation.
The entire squad of QPR and Brentford are all black? Are you sure?
So if they chose a different symbol, you'd have no issue with it? Kneeling in solidarity was around well before BLM btw
Wilfried Zaha, QPR and Brentford. What do these three have in common?
